Swedavia introduces a Welcome Back Package 1 July 2020
The Welcome Back Package consists of two rebate programs aimed at accelerating the re-establishment of traffic at Swedavia’s airports. This has been decided following consultations with airlines and ground handling agents. The package consists of one program for intercontinental traffic and one for European traffic.
In accordance with the charges decision, the incentives will be available from the 1 July 2020 for all airlines flying from Swedavia’s airports. The decision is valid for the part of the incentive programs that is applicable before 1 January 2021. All parts of the Welcome Back Program introduced that span beyond 2020 will be consulted in the process for airport charges consultations for 2021. The decision on charges for 2021 is planned to be communicated the 30 October 2020 after the consultation process is concluded.
