Consultation for new airport charges soon to begin
The yearly process for new airport charges will begin in September. The start of the process is preceded by a Pre-Consultation meeting where Swedavia will present its planned proposals for structural changes to its price list, on which airport users are invited to provide feedback.
Swedavia welcomes all airport users operating at a Swedavia airport to participate in the consultations. All meetings will be available through Microsoft Teams, but there will also be an opportunity for physical representation in Consultation Meeting 1.
Pre-Consultation meeting: 12 June, 1 PM–4:30 PM
Consultation Meeting 1: 12 September, 10 AM–4:30 PM
Consultation Meeting 2: 10 October, 1 PM–4:30 PM
Following the consultations, Swedavia plans to make a decision on Airport Charges valid from 1 January 2025.
Registration to participate in the consultations can be made to consultation@swedavia.se, no later than 1 day before the meeting (for participation via Microsoft Teams). Physical representation for Consultation Meeting 1 12 September must be confirmed 12 August 2024 at the latest. The Consultation Framework, including Swedavia’s initial proposal, will be sent 30 August to registered consultation participants.
In addition to the central consultations, Swedavia hosts local airport user committee meetings (AUC) continuously throughout the year. The following meetings are planned for the autumn of 2024:
Swedavia Regional Airports*: 2 October, 10 AM – 11.30 AM
Swedavia International Airports**: 2 October, 12 AM – 4:30 PM
