SAS is expanding at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and will enhance connectivity with a new direct route to Agadir, Morocco.

For the first time since the spring of 2019, it will now be possible to fly in scheduled service with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) non-stop from Stockholm Arlanda to the coastal city of Agadir. Located near the foot of the Atlas Mountains in southern Morocco, the city offers long white sandy beaches and a comfortable winter climate, making it a popular destination with Europeans.

The first departure is planned for November 4 this year, and the route will be served once a week, on Saturdays, during the winter season. Tickets will go sale at www.sas.com.

Passengers who fly with SAS can buy tickets that include 50 per cent sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), which is a biofuel. Compared to fossil fuels, SAF dramatically reduces climate-damaging CO₂ emissions. The Stockholm−Agadir route will be flown by an Airbus 320neo, with about a 20 per cent saving in fuel efficiency and emissions.
