At Arlanda you travel free of charge on buses or the express train Arlanda Express within the airport area.

How long is the trip between terminals?

The journey between Arlanda South (Terminals 2, 3, 4) and Arlanda North (Terminal 5) only takes about a minute, and loudspeaker announcements and rolling text on board the train tell you where you should get off.


At what time does the train leave?

The train runs several times an hour from early in the morning to late at night. For a more complete time table, see Arlanda Express' website.


How much does it cost to take Arlanda Express between terminals?

The transfer between the terminals is free of charge.

What is the bus route?

Parking lot P2 Beta, car rental area, Jumbo Stay, Terminal 4, Terminal 2, Parking lot P2 Beta.


At what time does the bus leave?

Between 04.00-09.00 and 12.00-19.00 the bus departs every 10 minutes. Between 19.00-01.00 and 09.00-12.00 the bus departs every 12 minutes with the exception between 01.00- 04.00 when the bus departs every 15 minutes.


How much does taking the bus cost?

The bus is free of charge.

What is the bus route?

Parking lot P3 Alfa, Radisson Blu Arlandia, Jumbo Stay, Terminal 4, Terminal 2, Parking lot P3 Alfa.


What time does the bus leave?

The bus departs every 15 minutes between 04.00-01.00. Between 01.00-04.00, the bus will depart every 20 minutes.


How much does taking the bus cost?

The bus is free of charge.


Transfer between Terminal 2 and Terminal 5 - after security


Travels within Schengen

For you who is travelling within the Schengen area and is transfering between Terminal 2 and Terminal 5, there is a transfer bus. The bus stops at the following places:

  • Gate 61C in Terminal 2
  • Transfer Gate T11 by the passage that binds Gate area C with the rest of Terminal 5
  • Gate F5 in Terminal 5

The bus is manned every day between 05.30-22.00. Request pick-up by pressing the button at the transfer bus stop. The bus will arrive within 20 minutes.


For flights to countries outside the Schengen Area

For passengers in Terminal 5 flying to a non-Schengen country, the transfer bus runs between Gate F1 and Gate D24.

For passengers flying to a non-Schengen country who need to transfer between Terminal 5 and Terminal 2, the transfer bus runs between Gate F5 in Terminal 5 and Gate 70 in Terminal 2.

The bus operates daily 05:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Please call for pick-up by pressing the button at the transfer bus stop. The bus will arrive within 20 minutes.

Where does the bus for other hotels and long term parkings depart?

Other transfer buses stop outside Terminal 4 and transfer you to other long-term parking areas and hotels outside the airport area.
