Three More Swedavia Airports Achieve Highest Climate Certification

Visby Airport, Åre Östersund Airport and Kiruna Airport have now reached Level 5, the highest international climate certification within the Airport Carbon Accreditation program. This means that seven out of Swedavia’s ten airports are now leading the way in reducing climate impact.
Swedavia is committed to making air travel as sustainable as possible. Since 2020, all Swedavia airports have been fossil-free in their own operations. Now, more partners at the airports have also joined the transition. The goal is for all domestic flights in Sweden to be fossil-free by 2030, and all international flights by 2045.
