During the winter season, Swedish skiers will be able to fly non-stop once weekly with Norwegian Air Shuttle to Turin and Grenoble, two brand-new destinations from Göteborg Landvetter Airport.

Within easy reach of Turin are Italian ski resorts such as Cervinia, Champoluc and Sestriere as well as the French ski resorts of Serre Chevalier and La Grave. As the capital city of Piedmont in northern Italy, Turin is also an exciting destination for everyone interested in the region’s food and drinks.

Grenoble is a well-known winter sport town in southeast France often called the gateway to the Alps since the city is surrounded by three mountain ranges. Ski resorts located near Grenoble include Val Thorens, Valmeinier, Les Menuires, Meribel, Les Deux Alpes, Alpe d’Huez and Val d’Isere.

The carrier Norwegian now makes it even easier for anyone taking a ski trip during the winter season to fly non-stop from Gothenburg to places with convenient travel links to different Alpine ski resorts. With Turin and Grenoble, Norwegian offers 16 international destinations from Göteborg Landvetter.

“We are pleased that Norwegian has chosen to expand its network of routes by adding two seasonal destinations and to bolster service for Swedish skiers this winter. This provides people living in western Sweden with better access and an opportunity to enjoy winter sport at ski resorts in the popular countries of France and Italy. So far this year, 13 new routes have been launched from Göteborg Landvetter, and it is especially gratifying to be able to offer two more destinations since demand for direct routes remains strong,” says Elizabeth Axtelius, Director of Aviation Business at Swedavia.

The new route Göteborg Landvetter Airport (GOT) – Turin (TRN) will operate once weekly on Saturdays during the period December 28, 2019–March 28, 2020.
